Radiohead's 'The King Of Limbs' is there a Part 2?

UPDATE! Are there 2 Parts to this album???

"if you think this is over, then you're wrong"

If you pre-ordered the band's 8th studio album it is now available to be downloaded. Here is the band's website where you can purchase the album. Just click this link to visit the website: http://www.thekingoflimbs.com/

I created a second blog with all the information on The King Of Limbs Part 2 http://thekingoflimbspart2.blogspot.com/ or you can visit http://thekingoflimbspart2.com/

Here are the lyrics to the album: http://metospeak.blogspot.com/p/radiohead-king-of-limbs-lyrics.html

The story behind the Album cover and "Newspaper" edition:

One day prior to the album's release, artist Stanley Donwood stated that the album's artwork is inspired by Nothern European fairy-tails and their association with forests and woods: "It's very much about natural forms. I'd heard something about the northern European imagination, in the sense of all our fairy stories and mythical creatures, they all come from the woods - Little Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty, Hansel & Gretel [...] Me and Thom [Yorke] were working on these ideas of strange, multi-limbed creatures that are neither malevolent or benevolent, they're simply there, part of the living spirit of the forest. That's come through into all of the work."

Regarding the forthcoming limited "newspaper" edition of the album, Donwood stated that: "In Rainbows" was like a coffee table book. It was this big thing I felt quite sure that with determination you could probably beat someone to death with it, it was very heavy and hard. So I wanted to do something that was completely different for this. Also, the other thing was the sense of the music not coming to a halt - it was almost like this was kind of a report on its current status. What I like about newspaper is its ephemeral nature, I like the way the paper goes yellow and brittle when you leave it out in the sunlight. I wanted to do this thing like a really annoying Sunday paper, you know when you buy the paper and all this crap falls out? I wanted to do something really annoying with all these crappy bits of floppy, glossy paper." link

Here is the track listing:
1. "Bloom" 5:15
2. "Morning Mr. Magpie" 4:41
3. "Little by Little" 4:27
4. "Feral" 3:13
5. "Lotus Flower" 5:01
6. "Codex" 4:47
7. "Give Up the Ghost" 4:50
8. "Separator" 5:20

After listening to the album it has more of n Electronic sound to it, and it compares more to the bands work on Amnesiac with a bit of Kid A and Thom Yorke's solo album 'The Eraser'.

Update!:

I hear there is a rumor going around that there will be a second set of songs released as early as tomorrow. Is there a hidden message in the song Separator? "if you think this is over, then you're wrong" If the band is releasing a double vinyl will it only have 2 songs on each side??

Keep checking back for the latest updates!

1. Is there a hidden message in this song "Separator"? if you think this is over then you are wrong...
2. Is Separator what separates part 1 and part 2??
3.Why would they release a double vinyl album for 8 songs or 38 minutes worth of music.
4. The file was named "TKOL1", which leads you to think there might be a "TKOL2"

The King Of Limbs clocks is at 37:29 in length, which makes it their shortest album; but only by 4 minutes or so.

Pablo Honey – 42:11
The Bends – 48:37
OK Computer – 53:27
Kid A – 49:57
Amnesiac – 43:55
Hail To The Thief – 56:35
In Rainbows – 42:43

An entire blog dedicated to a possible Part 2 for The King Of Limbs? Why Not? http://thekingoflimbspart2.blogspot.com/ or http://thekingoflimbspart2.com/

Separator Lyrics by Radiohead

It’s like I’m falling out of bed
From a long, weary dream
The sweetest flowers and fruits hang from trees
Falling off the giant bird that’s been carrying me
It’s like I’m falling out of bed
From a long and weary dream
Just exactly as I remember
Every root
Every gesture
I’m a heart in cold ground
Like I’m falling out of bed
From a long and weary dream
Finally I’m free of all the weight I’ve been carrying
Every woman blows her cover
In the eye of the beholder
I’m a fish now out of water
Falling off a giant bird that’s been carrying me
I fell open
I laid under
At the tap out
I was just a number
I wanna slip it over
And get back under
And if you think this is over
Then you’re wrong
If you think this is over
Then you’re wrong
If you think this is over
Then you’re wrong
(Wake me up, wake me up)
If you think this is over
Then you’re wrong
(Wake me up, wake me up)
Like I’m falling out of bed
From a long, weary dream
The sweetest flowers and fruits hang from trees
When I ask you again
When I ask you again
Wake me up

Wake me up
Wake me up
Wake me up
Wake me up
Wake me up
Wake me up
Wake me up

Radiohead's Japanese Tweet

UPDATE: This event was canceled due to security concerns.

Radiohead have posted a cryptic message in Japanese on Twitter. As a result, speculation among fans is now rife that the band are set to appear in Tokyo on Friday (Feb. 18) to mark the release of new album 'The King of Limbs'.

According to the NME, the tweet appears to be a location and a time. A rough translation reads "Hachiko Square Shibuya, 59 minutes at 18 Friday."

The square in question is one of Tokyo's notoriously-congested pedestrian area while the rest of the tweet has been interpreted to mean the time, 6:59PM JST (9:59AM GMT).

So far neither the band nor their representatives have offered any explanation for the mysterious tweet.

As previously reported by Spinner, Radiohead announced on Valentine's Day that they would be releasing their eighth album digitally on Feb. 19 with physical copies available from May 9.

The album has been kept well under wraps, which is no mean feat in a world where online leaks are almost mandatory. Instead the only detail available comes from 'The King of Limbs' official website which described the follow-up to 'In Rainbows' as "the world's first (perhaps)
Newspaper Album."

Now this is just a rumored track-listing for the album.

The Daily Mail
Mouse Dog Bird
Lotus Flower
Give Up The Ghost
Skirting On The Surface
Open The Floodgates
Let Me Take Control/Chris Hodge
Burn The Witch
No Shame
